We look back on an intense year in 2024, which enabled us to realise artistic projects between performance, dance, electronic music, photography and film, among others, in Schwelm, Wuppertal, Essen, Cologne, Alexandria, Oulu, Geneva, Oravikoski, Kuopio and Riyadh. Over the past year, we have met many people, created art together and formed many networks and friendships. These connections are important to us precisely because in times of multiple crises and political conflicts, we currently need to move closer together in art.
At the beginning of March, we will be publishing our programme for 2025, but we would like to invite you to our popular Culture Club format at the spinnereischwelm - on 1 February and again on 15 March 2025, both starting at 7 pm. In addition to the usual talks and drinks, we will surprise you with a live concert and film programme. Just come by!
In 2025, the photo publication ‘Nach dem Sturm - Vor der Flut’, which will be released in April, based on our somatic photographic work ‘Family Studies Oravikoski 2021’.
In March, our next choreographic project ‘Ballroom Bliss’ will also start, for which we will again be inviting people to workshops at the spinnerei in Schwelm and to ballrooms in public spaces, among other things.
