THESPACEWEMAKE
With THESPACEWEMAKE, deufert&plischke celebrate 25 years of artistic collaboration. Together with long-time companions and collaborators from Johannesburg, Berlin, Cologne, Wuppertal and Schwelm, we are creating a polyphonic dance concert that moves between performance, happening, workshop and live art.
THESPACEWEMAKE opens up a space that is not simply found but comes into being through the shared act of making art—through the constant exchange between watching and acting, remembering and participating. The stage itself becomes a social practice: stories emerge and disappear again, voices overlap, dances continue in other bodies. What unfolds is not a finished work but a shared experience that only comes into being together with its audience.
